About the role

Amentum seeks a Peacekeeper Inn Manager to oversee lodging, recreation, food & beverage, and entertainment services for a unique US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures compliance with government and organizational standards while delivering high‑quality hospitality experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of hospitality, recreation, and entertainment services to meet customer satisfaction goals.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that optimize efficiency, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets, control costs, oversee procurement, and achieve financial targets without compromising service quality.
• Plan and oversee events and programs, ensuring they meet patron needs and expectations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, maintaining on‑site availability within one hour of notification.
• Monitor facility conditions, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and adherence to safety and health guidelines.
• Provide regular reports on operations, budget performance, customer satisfaction, and staff productivity for government review.

Required profile

• Four‑year degree in business management, hospitality, food, or recreation management, OR three years of relevant experience plus five years of middle‑manager experience in a similar civilian commercial setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of recreation, food service, lodging, and entertainment operations, including financial management and customer service standards.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop staff.
• Valid passport (minimum one‑year validity) and ability to obtain required visas, clearances, and facility credentials.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Inventory management and record‑keeping for hospitality operations.
