Peer Reviewer (PhD) – Urology (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

This is a long‑term, stable part‑time position for a qualified researcher to provide peer‑review services for urology manuscripts. The work is fully remote and supports flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts and determine their contribution to urology.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility of the research.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity, accuracy, and significance.
• Provide constructive, clear, and concise feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field.
• At least five peer‑reviewable papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
