Pharmaceutical Technologist (10 Positions)

About the role

Brites Management Services is recruiting 10 full-time Pharmaceutical Technologists in the healthcare industry. The role covers medication dispensing, inventory control and patient support, with a stated salary of KShs 50,000.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately according to prescriptions, and give patients clear instructions on dosage, administration and possible side effects.
• Maintain adequate stock levels, track expiry dates, record stock movements and ensure proper storage of medicines.
• Advise patients and customers on medication use and answer product queries while maintaining a high standard of service.
• Keep dispensing records accurate, ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations, and support inspections and audits.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
• At least 2 years' experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).

Required skills

• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosages and dispensing practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
