Pharmaceutical Technologist – Full‑Time

About the role

The Pharmaceutical Technologist will join Namo Hospital’s pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medicines to patients. This on‑site position involves direct interaction with clinicians and patients, supporting the hospital’s commitment to quality healthcare in Lodwar.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medicines accurately and provide appropriate patient guidance.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and accountability of pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory management.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and comply with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) requirements.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists, clinicians and other hospital departments.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
• At least one (1) year of relevant work experience.
• Registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
• Good knowledge of dispensing, stock management and safe handling of medicines.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisational abilities.
