Pharmaceutical Technologist – Hospital Pharmacy

About the role

The Hospital Pharmacy is seeking a diligent Pharmaceutical Technologist to support the delivery of efficient and timely pharmacy services. Reporting directly to the pharmacist, the role focuses on accurate prescription handling, patient counseling, and maintaining high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions.
• Interpret prescriptions accurately and verify dosage calculations.
• Provide counseling and medication advice to patients.
• Maintain customer service standards and address patient inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with the Pharmaceutical and Poisons Board regulations.
• Work under pressure while upholding high integrity and minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
• Current registration with the Pharmaceutical and Poisons Board.
• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and counseling abilities.
• Mature practicing Christian with a pleasant personality.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
