About the role
We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Mombasa. The role involves accurate dispensing of medicines, patient counselling, and supporting clinical staff with drug information.
Key responsibilities
- Review and dispense prescriptions accurately.
- Provide patient counselling on proper medication use.
- Ensure safe storage, handling, and management of medicines.
- Maintain inventory control, monitor stock levels and expiry dates.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
- Support doctors and nurses with drug information and advice.
- Maintain accurate dispensing and pharmacy records.
- Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degree.
- Registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board with a valid practicing license.
- At least 3 years of experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy (preferred).
Required skills
- Knowledge of medicines and drug interactions.
