Physician – BOSC Clinic

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Physician to provide comprehensive medical care at the BOSC Clinic on Diego Garcia. You will deliver primary, acute, and preventive health services to a diverse, multinational workforce supporting a US Navy program.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in a clinic setting.
• Perform physical exams, review medical histories, and order appropriate labs and imaging.
• Develop patient care plans that incorporate treatment, education, and prevention.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in line with medical guidelines.
• Collaborate with Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and ancillary staff.
• Respond to medical emergencies, providing BLS, ACLS, trauma stabilization, and critical care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation using EHR systems.
• Participate in clinical operations review and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty.
• Valid, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• 3‑5 years of clinical experience, preferably primary care or emergency medicine.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS is a plus.
• Fluent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Valid passport (minimum 1‑year validity) and ability to travel internationally.
