Plumber (Mavoko, Kenya)

About the role

Q-Sourcing, a manpower management firm operating across East Africa, is recruiting a competent, skilled and experienced plumber on behalf of its client to work in Mavoko, Kenya. The plumber installs, repairs and maintains plumbing systems in plants and buildings so that they run efficiently, safely and in line with relevant codes and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Install and assemble piping systems, fittings and fixtures according to blueprints, specifications and plumbing codes, including water supply lines, drainage systems and fixtures such as sinks, toilets and showers.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and repair or replace parts, fixing leaks and clogs promptly.
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspect systems to prevent future problems.
• Follow safety protocols, use PPE, report hazards and incidents, and ensure all work meets plumbing and building codes.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and report deviations from plans or specifications.

Required profile

• Full-time position; the employer states that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
• Government trade tests I, II and III in Plumbing (NITA).
