Practice Centre of Excellence Coordinator

About the role

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) is establishing and operationalizing a Practice Centre of Excellence (PCoE), a professional development platform designed to raise audit quality, deepen practitioner competence and strengthen the sustainability of practice firms in Kenya. The PCoE will be the Institute's flagship home for professional practice development, quality enhancement, innovation and technical excellence. The coordinator supports its implementation and works alongside the Manager of the Practice Centre of Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that all training programs are delivered on schedule according to the annual training plan.
• Provide administrative support to the Manager – Practice Centre of Excellence.
• Be responsible for the successful implementation of the Certification for Preparers of Financial Statements.
• Support the Institute's CPD trainings by developing concept notes, reviewing CPD points submitted by members and preparing technical bulletins and guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K).
• Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
• At least 2 years of work experience in a finance or audit-related role.
