Pre-Sales Fixed Network Product Manager

About the role

Huawei is looking for a Pre‑Sales Fixed Network Product Manager to drive market positioning and financial growth of DWDM, IP and Access solutions across the Sub‑Saharan region. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to help operators build cost‑effective, future‑oriented fixed networks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies and tactical plans for fixed‑network products.
• Engage customers on network planning, implementation, marketing, service provisioning and maintenance.
• Work directly with key decision‑makers in the Sub‑Saharan Africa region to close large, complex deals.
• Collaborate with Huawei R&D teams to customise solutions for regional needs.
• Motivate, mentor and develop Account Managers and Solution Managers to achieve sales targets.
• Drive annual sales growth and communicate product value to customers.
• Generate solution designs, technical proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Conduct industry and competitive research to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of degree or diploma in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or IT.
• MBA or high‑level commercial qualification is a plus.
• HCIE/CCIE certification is advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience selling fixed‑network solutions (DWDM, OTN, IP, routers, switches, FTTH, etc.).
