Procurement Senior Coordinator

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a Procurement Senior Coordinator to lead the acquisition of high‑quality solar and non‑agricultural inputs for smallholder farmers. The role focuses on cost‑efficient, market‑competitive purchasing while ensuring timely delivery and compliance across all operating countries.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve >90% On‑Time‑In‑Full (OTIF) delivery and maintain market‑competitive cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Secure at least 5% cost savings, close open purchase orders within 80% of target timelines, and ensure >80% on‑time payments.
• Coordinate taxes, duties, clearances, and freight to mitigate operational risks.
• Implement negotiations, strategic purchasing frameworks, and contracts that provide favorable payment terms.
• Maintain quality control standards throughout the procurement process.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide world‑class customer service by communicating order status and resolving payment inquiries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supply‑chain coordination, preferably in agricultural or solar product contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to meet OTIF targets and achieve cost‑saving objectives.
• Strong analytical skills for risk mitigation, root‑cause analysis, and performance reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and supplier engagement.
