Procurement Specialist – Kenya

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will lead end‑to‑end procurement activities for the Kenya operations of a global aviation services organization. Based at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the role ensures cost‑effective, compliant sourcing that supports uninterrupted operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requisition to contract for all locally purchased goods and services.
• Develop and execute local procurement strategies aligned with global objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Technical, Finance, HR, IT, Facilities) to understand and meet business needs.
• Work closely with Group Global Procurement on compliance, category strategies, reporting, and supplier performance.
• Lead sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and performance management across key categories such as operational services & rentals, technical & maintenance, and administrative goods & facility services.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, commercially driven professional capable of bridging local operational needs with global procurement standards.
• Proven experience in managing procurement activities in a regulated, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
