Product Development Manager

About the role

The Product Development Manager will lead the engineering function, overseeing multiple Agile Scrum squads to design, develop and deliver high‑quality software that meets business goals and customer needs. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with Product Managers, QA, and Solution Architects to ensure seamless product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with organisational objectives, establishing technical direction and architectural standards.
• Lead and mentor cross‑functional Scrum teams, including Solution Architects, Senior Product Developers, UI/UX Designers and Scrum Masters.
• Oversee end‑to‑end product delivery, managing capacity planning, sprint execution, dependency coordination and risk mitigation.
• Ensure systems are built for scalability, resilience, maintainability and compliance, particularly for financial services or enterprise software.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to align infrastructure, deployment pipelines and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software product development and engineering leadership.
• Proven track record of managing multiple Agile Scrum teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, scalability and reliability principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
