About the role
A Production Supervisor will be in charge of the overall management, supervision, and performance of the TV and smartphone assembly lines. This includes planning and executing daily production schedules, ensuring high‑quality standards, maintaining a safe working environment, and steering a team of production operators and technicians.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise day‑to‑day operations of the production floor, including scheduling, staffing and workflow management.
- Monitor production processes and performance metrics, identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Materials Handling teams to ensure raw materials and components are available for production.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Train, mentor and develop production staff, conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
- Work with engineering and quality assurance to resolve technical issues, improve product quality and optimise processes.
- Implement Kaizen, 6S and continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Prepare regular reports on production output, throughput and efficiency, and support new product introduction activities.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the electronics industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience with CKD/SKD processes and technology.
- Strong managerial and stewardship skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Solid knowledge of production planning, scheduling and inventory management.
- Excellent problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement mindset.
- Effective communication and people‑relation skills across all organisational levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
