Professional Security Guard (Specialized)

About the role

We are creating a talent pool of disciplined, alert, and professional security guards for future placements with KSIA member companies. The role involves protecting people, property, and assets across various environments such as corporate offices, malls, residential estates, and industrial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols and site inspections to ensure safety of assigned premises.
• Monitor CCTV systems and access control points, responding swiftly to suspicious activity or emergencies.
• Control entry and exit, maintaining accurate logs of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Communicate security incidents or breaches to site supervisors and management.
• Provide courteous customer service as the first point of contact for visitors and staff.
• Document daily activities, incident reports, and security checklists accurately.

Required profile

• Minimum KCSE certificate (D plain or higher preferred).
• Excellent physical fitness with clear vision and hearing.
• Valid National ID, Certificate of Good Conduct, KRA PIN, and NSSF/SHIF numbers.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
• Proven integrity, discipline, and reliability.
• Prior experience in security, military, or police services is a strong advantage.
