Programme Coordinator - South Sudan, Sudan and Somalia

About the role

Legal Action Worldwide (LAW) is seeking a Programme Coordinator to support its South Sudan, Sudan and Somalia programmes. Based in Nairobi, the role involves coordinating gender‑sensitive, trauma‑informed interventions and working closely with Programme Managers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate with project teams to ensure high‑quality programming, including awareness and advocacy activities.
• Engage national, humanitarian and other stakeholders to advance programme goals.
• Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Programme Manager.
• Facilitate capacity‑building initiatives such as training and evidence‑based interventions across Somalia, South Sudan and Sudan.
• Travel to programme regions as required while maintaining a gender‑sensitive, trauma‑informed approach.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Kenya.
• Experience in programme coordination within humanitarian or human‑rights contexts.
• Commitment to survivor‑centred, gender‑competent and trauma‑informed practices.

What we offer

• Annual salary range KES 3,660,000 – KES 3,780,000 (based on experience) plus benefits.
