About the role
Hikvision is seeking a Project Sales Engineer to drive sales of CCTV solutions to government departments, state‑owned enterprises and large corporations. The role combines technical understanding of security products with strong client‑facing skills to deliver end‑to‑end project success.
Key responsibilities
- Sell Hikvision CCTV products and integrated solutions to government agencies, state‑owned enterprises and major corporate clients.
- Identify, plan and manage key project milestones and coordinate with relevant personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and complete all required documentation independently.
- Communicate technical information clearly to clients, ensuring rapid comprehension and confidence.
- Maintain and expand a network of client resources within the targeted sectors.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the CCTV industry.
- Proven experience selling to government departments, state‑owned enterprises or large corporations.
- Graduated from a top‑5 university in Kenya with an engineering background (Bachelor’s in Computer Science or IT‑related fields).
- Preferably a Nairobi native or resident.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with new contacts.
- Honest, optimistic, outgoing, patient, meticulous and ambitious.
