Purchasing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to support our waste‑materials business. The role combines waste‑sales activities with end‑to‑end procurement, ensuring that the right materials are sourced efficiently and at competitive prices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse characteristics of waste materials and related industry trends.
• Identify and source potential customers for waste sales.
• Conduct SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) commercial pricing activities.
• Clarify internal purchasing requirements and translate them into clear specifications.
• Obtain quotations, evaluate offers and manage the acquisition of goods.
• Operate and maintain procurement systems, ensuring data accuracy.
• Prepare and issue all necessary procurement documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong command of English (or other required language).
• Good understanding of the procurement process.
• Hands‑on experience with procurement or SRM software.

Required skills

• Procurement software (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle Procurement, or similar).
