Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing construction company that specialises in waterproofing, renovations, repairs, remodelling and general construction works. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for project costing, tender preparation, site assessments, contract administration, cost control and monitoring to ensure profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, quotations and tender documents.
• Conduct material take‑offs, develop project budgets and perform site visits, measurements and assessments.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets, track variations and prepare valuation reports.
• Produce weekly and monthly cost reports and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support project managers with resource planning, cost control and contract administration.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors and project teams, attending meetings and representing the company.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Economics, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years of practical experience on construction projects, preferably in waterproofing, renovations or general construction.
• Proven ability to prepare BOQs, quotations, cost estimates and tender documents.
• Experience interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Quantity Surveying or construction‑related software (advantageous).
