About the role
The Jordan Hospital in Kitui is looking for a professional, friendly and customer‑oriented Receptionist / Front Office Officer. You will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and stakeholders, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and attend to patients, visitors and clients professionally.
- Receive, screen and direct telephone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Register patients and guide them to the appropriate hospital departments.
- Provide accurate information about hospital services, operating hours and procedures.
- Schedule appointments, maintain visitor records and manage correspondence.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area and protect patient confidentiality.
Required profile
- Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, Customer Service or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in a receptionist or front‑office role.
- Well‑presented, professional and customer‑oriented with strong communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
