Reconciliations Manager

About the role

The Reconciliations Manager will lead a dedicated team responsible for overseeing, investigating, and resolving complex reconciliation breaks, queries, and escalations. This role safeguards the bank’s financial integrity by mitigating operational and financial risk and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Reconciliations team, providing direction and performance oversight.
• Investigate and resolve complex reconciliation breaks, queries, and escalations.
• Strengthen controls and maintain the integrity of the bank’s financial records and reconciliation processes.
• Mitigate operational and financial risk through timely issue resolution.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business, operations, finance, risk, technology, and external partners.

Required profile

• First degree plus CPA‑K or ACCA certification.
• 8‑10 years of experience in payment systems, settlement processes, and related reconciliation activities.
• Strong knowledge of deals, treasury, trade finance, and financial market transactions.
• Proven leadership experience managing high‑performing teams.
• Extensive experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving operational excellence.
• Background in risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance for reconciliations.
