About the role

International Justice Mission is seeking a Recruiter for Africa to manage full‑cycle recruiting across a diverse regional portfolio. The role is based in the Ghana or Kenya office and follows a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full life‑cycle recruiting for a broad mix of roles across Africa, including regular, fixed‑term, contract, temporary, and cross‑regional positions.
• Build consultative partnerships with hiring managers, Regional HR colleagues, and the HR Director to align recruitment strategies with workforce needs.
• Leverage advanced sourcing techniques and professional networks to identify and engage active and passive candidates across Africa and global talent markets.
• Conduct intake meetings, review applications, screen candidates, and manage interview processes to ensure fair assessments.
• Advise hiring managers throughout interviews, debriefs, and offer negotiations; create competitive offers and coordinate approvals.
• Use data and talent trends to continuously refine recruitment strategies and ensure compliance with regional employment, safeguarding, and data protection standards.
• Maintain accurate candidate data in Workday and related reporting tools; coordinate interview logistics and support onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of full life‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably across multiple African countries.
• Demonstrated advanced sourcing expertise and ability to recruit senior‑level roles.
• Familiarity with African recruiting compliance, data protection, and ethical hiring practices.
• Strong organizational skills, judgment, and ability to manage multiple searches.
