Regional Business Development Manager - SWANA

About the role

Oxfam is looking for a Regional Business Development Manager for the SWANA region. The role leads new business development for all countries in the region, creating, identifying and accessing new funding opportunities while keeping a consistent standard of donor relationships and proposal quality across different country contexts. It also supports the Regional Director in providing strategic leadership on resource mobilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the region's resource mobilisation strategy
• Support the Regional Director in building partnerships with regional donors and civil society stakeholders
• Identify new funding opportunities and grow income through multi-country funding and consortium partnerships
• Address key financial and reputational risks
• Ensure strategies are in place to maintain adequate skills, capacity, staffing and income across the region's countries
• Work across Oxfam affiliates and the Oxfam International Secretariat, acting as the main link to technical fundraising support
