About the role
The Regional Migration Health Nurse Coordinator will support the Migration Health Division’s nursing leadership and oversee the Migration Health Assessment Programme across the region, reporting to the Regional Director and Deputy Regional Health Assessment Programme Coordinator.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Nursing with at least five years of relevant experience, including two years in a management role, or a university degree with seven years of experience and three years in management.
- Experience in tuberculosis management, mass immunizations, communicable diseases, laboratory testing or public health is advantageous.
- Demonstrated implementation of QC/QA principles and senior‑level managerial skills.
- Previous international experience in health assessment programmes is a distinctive advantage.
- Fluency in English (oral and written); knowledge of another UN official language is a plus.
Required skills
- Implementation of quality control and quality assurance (QC/QA) principles.
- Development of guidelines and instructions for nursing services.
- Use of IOM databases and applications.
- Computer literacy with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access).
