Regional People Business Partner – East

About the role

This position offers an exciting chance to join a fast‑growing accountancy and business advisory firm as a Regional People Business Partner. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will act as a trusted adviser to regional leadership, aligning people strategies with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with partners, directors and managers to design HR solutions that support firm goals.
• Advise leadership on people strategy, workforce planning, succession and organisational design.
• Develop and roll out HR initiatives that align with strategic objectives.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances and absence management.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies.
• Lead onboarding, induction and employee engagement programmes.
• Support training, career development and learning solutions.
• Manage performance review cycles and coach managers on goal‑setting and feedback.
• Assist regional leaders with change initiatives such as restructurings, mergers or acquisitions.
• Champion HR transformation projects, including the adoption of the Bob and Streets Career Framework.
• Use HR data and analytics to monitor turnover, engagement and absenteeism, providing insights to leadership.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders in a professional services environment, preferably accountancy.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, employment law and best practices.
• Commercial awareness of challenges facing professional services firms.
