Registered Nurse – NCK License Required

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care while supporting laboratory and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing assessments, monitoring and interventions.
• Deliver excellent customer service, address patient concerns and offer clear health education.
• Assist with sample collection, preparation and processing following standard procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy, ensuring safe and efficient blood collection for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with laboratory, medical and administrative staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Uphold hygiene, safety and equipment standards and report any issues promptly.
• Respond to medical emergencies according to established guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and apply research findings to enhance care quality.
• Provide compassionate psychological support and advocate for patient well‑being.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration and license with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a diagnostic or healthcare setting.
• Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Proficiency in computer use, especially Health Management Information Systems.
