Remote Data Analyst – Business Insights

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Data Analyst to join a global leader in software development and data infrastructure. The contractor will analyze complex datasets, uncover trends, and translate findings into actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate key metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports and visualizations for decision‑making.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency through quality checks.

Required profile

• Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data processing.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
