Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the launch and daily operations of a new casual‑dining venue specializing in burgers, located in Machakos Town. You will work closely with the owner to establish standards, build a team, and ensure a smooth re‑opening.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities across all service hours (7 am‑10 pm, 7 days a week).
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of 13‑15 staff members.
• Maintain food quality, service excellence, and cleanliness standards.
• Manage scheduling, costing, inventory, and supplier relationships.
• Prepare regular performance reports and recommend operational improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience managing a restaurant or food‑and‑beverage operation.
• Calm under pressure and committed to high‑quality work.
• Strong interpersonal skills with both staff and customers.
• Preferably based in Machakos; relocation support may be considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Social‑media savvy for brand promotion.
