Robotics Data Collector

About the role

CNTXT AI is a leading artificial intelligence company focused on building next‑generation AI systems, products, and infrastructure. The company is looking for a Robotics Data Collector to support the collection of high‑quality robotics and egocentric data used to train AI models. This role involves hands‑on work with robotic systems, sensors, and real‑world environments to capture multimodal datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Collect robotics and egocentric data using cameras (handheld, head‑mounted, or robot‑mounted) and sensors (IMU, depth cameras, etc.) following predefined scenarios and protocols.
• Assist in operating humanoid or mobile robots during data collection, including setup and calibration of cameras, sensors, and recording systems.
• Review collected data for completeness, clarity, and accuracy, flagging missing data, recording errors, or sensor misalignment.
• Prepare and execute experiment environments such as object manipulation, navigation scenarios, and human‑robot interaction recordings.
• Maintain documentation of data‑collection sessions, equipment usage, and issues encountered, providing feedback to improve processes.
• Follow lab safety protocols, handle robotics equipment with care, and ensure compliance with data privacy and security requirements.

Required profile

• 0–3+ years of experience in data collection, field operations, or lab environments.
• Comfortable working with cameras, sensors, and recording devices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Required skills

• Operating cameras (handheld, head‑mounted, robot‑mounted).
• Using IMU and depth camera sensors.
• Robotic system operation and calibration.
• Data recording and validation tools.
• Basic computer systems for data handling.
