Route To Market Representative

About the role

Jwines Enterprises Limited, a 100% Kenyan-owned distributor of fine wines and premium spirits founded in 2013, is hiring a Route To Market Representative. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi, responsible for managing and expanding customer routes, ensuring timely delivery of products and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and trade partners.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing and potential customers, take and process orders, and monitor stock levels.
• Support merchandising and product visibility in outlets.
• Track sales performance on assigned routes and identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Gather market intelligence, support promotional activities and give feedback to management to improve route efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field; prior experience in distribution or field sales is an added advantage.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within Nairobi and surrounding areas as required.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage time efficiently and meet targets with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Strong sales, account management and customer relationship skills, with knowledge of FMCG or beverage distribution channels such as hotels, clubs, supermarkets and retailers.
• Experience in route planning, territory management and basic data tracking or reporting for sales performance.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to present products and promotions clearly.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office or mobile sales applications for order entry, reporting and route management.
