Sales Accountant – Coffee Operations

About the role

The Sales Accountant will manage the end‑to‑end coffee sales process for Oaklands Coffee Marketing Limited, ensuring operational, financial and regulatory activities are executed accurately and on time. This role bridges growers, buyers and internal teams to guarantee smooth transactions and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and adhere to Coffee Sales SOPs, covering parchment reception, milling, and clean coffee dispatch.
• Generate invoices for coffee buyers, recover milling, transport, marketing, and warehousing charges, and ensure timely payment to growers.
• Conduct regular stock reconciliations, prepare weekly and monthly reports, and maintain accurate inventory of coffee and stationery.
• Register and manage direct sale contracts with the regulator, including preparation of inspection letters, movement permits, and phytosanitary certificates.
• Coordinate with field staff to dispatch sale statements to growers within two days of payment.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of progressive experience in finance, sales administration, or coffee operations.
• Strong financial management abilities, including budgeting and cost control at departmental level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
• Mature, pragmatic, self‑driven, and detail‑oriented with a collaborative team attitude.
