Sales and Marketing Officer (Restaurant and Airbnb)

About the role

A hospitality business operating a restaurant and Airbnb accommodation in Upper Hill, Nairobi, is looking for a full-time, results-oriented Sales and Marketing Officer. The role drives business growth, increases revenue and strengthens the market presence of both the restaurant and accommodation units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run sales strategies to grow restaurant revenue and Airbnb occupancy, and pursue corporate clients, travel agencies, event organizers and partnerships
• Drive reservations, traffic and bookings through direct sales, referrals and promotions, and create packages and corporate deals
• Plan and run marketing campaigns, manage social media, online ads and digital marketing, and optimise Airbnb listings
• Maximise room occupancy, respond to inquiries and convert leads into bookings, and recommend competitive room rates
• Build loyalty programmes, maintain a customer database and handle customer feedback and complaints
• Prepare sales and marketing reports, track KPIs and develop monthly plans within budget

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales and Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field
• 2-3 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, hotels or short-stay accommodation
• Proven ability to generate sales, attract customers and grow revenue

• Strong customer service and inquiry handling
