Sales Assistant – Retail Fashion (Mombasa)

About the role

The Sales Assistant will represent the Vivo Fashion brand in a busy retail environment in Mombasa. You will ensure every customer receives a high‑quality experience while supporting the store’s revenue and visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual and store sales targets and key retail KPIs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, handle calls, resolve complaints and promote loyalty programs.
• Manage petty cash, store administration and operate the POS system, issuing ETIMS receipts.
• Maintain visual merchandising, product presentation and store cleanliness in line with health‑and‑safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels, participate in stock counts and help prevent loss.
• Support store promotions, activations and online order fulfillment (Shop Zetu).
• Provide styling advice and product knowledge to customers.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members.

Required profile

• Diploma in Fashion & Design, Sales or Customer Experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a retail fashion environment, preferably in a customer‑facing sales role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience operating a POS system.
