Sales Associate – Customer Engagement

About the role

The Sales Associate will be the face of Mamlo Foods at a variety of customer touchpoints, from retail outlets and pop‑up stores to farmers’ markets and digital platforms. You will drive product awareness, boost sales, and create memorable brand experiences while gathering market insights to shape future campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Mamlo Foods at retail locations, exhibitions, markets and online channels.
• Promote products, conduct direct selling and upsell to customers.
• Maintain product displays, merchandising standards and stock levels.
• Collect customer feedback and market data to inform product and marketing strategies.
• Use POS systems to process transactions and keep accurate sales records.
• Travel locally and work flexible hours, including weekends for events.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing or Business Management.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales, promotions or customer‑facing roles, preferably in food, FMCG or social‑enterprise sectors.
• Strong communication, negotiation and storytelling abilities.
• Passion for social impact, women’s empowerment and sustainable agriculture.
• High integrity, accountability and a positive work ethic.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Basic record‑keeping using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Understanding of sales processes and CRM basics.
• Stock‑taking and inventory management knowledge.
