Sales Associate – Customer Engagement & Market Expansion

About the role

The Sales Associate will be the face of Mamlo Foods at customer touchpoints, driving product awareness and boosting sales across retail outlets, pop‑up stores, farmers’ markets, exhibitions and digital platforms. You will create memorable brand experiences while gathering market insights to shape future campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the brand at various sales channels and events, delivering product demonstrations and education.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, community groups and women’s networks.
• Execute merchandising plans, manage stock levels and conduct regular stock‑taking.
• Use POS systems to process transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
• Collect feedback and market data to inform product and marketing improvements.
• Travel locally and work flexible hours, including weekends for market events.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing or Business Management.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales, promotions or customer‑facing roles, preferably in food, FMCG or social‑enterprise sectors.
• Strong communication, negotiation and storytelling abilities.
• Passion for social impact, women’s empowerment and sustainable agriculture.
• High integrity, accountability and a positive work ethic.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for record‑keeping.
• Basic knowledge of CRM processes.
• Stock‑taking and inventory management.
