Sales Engineer – Industrial Air Solutions

About the role

As an IAT Sales Engineer you will drive sales of Atlas Copco’s compressed air solutions, including compressors, dryers and related services. The role is revenue‑focused and measured by the ability to secure and convert customer orders each month.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and close sales opportunities for compressed air solutions.
• Achieve monthly order‑intake targets through pipeline generation and conversion.
• Conduct product presentations, technical consultations and solution proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial customers and key accounts.
• Prepare and submit commercial and technical quotations.
• Use CRM tools to manage the pipeline and forecast accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience as an industrial equipment Sales Engineer.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Minimum three years selling technical or industrial equipment, preferably compressors.
• Strong understanding of energy‑efficiency principles and sustainable technologies.
• Ability to perform basic life‑cycle cost analysis and explain energy‑saving benefits.
• Proven track record of winning capital equipment sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
