Sales & Marketing Executive

About the role

Riset Software & Systems Ltd is hiring a Sales & Marketing Executive based in Westlands, Nairobi. The role centres on finding and converting customers for software solutions through field marketing, presentations and follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers and businesses.
• Conduct professional software presentations and live product demonstrations.
• Explain software features, benefits and business value clearly.
• Generate leads through field marketing, calls, referrals, social media and networking.
• Follow up with prospects and turn qualified leads into sales.
• Understand customer needs and recommend the right software solution.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate with the technical team where needed.
• Maintain records of leads, follow-ups, demonstrations and sales activities.
• Work towards assigned monthly sales and marketing targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Confidence approaching and speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
• Good understanding of computers and software, and ability to learn and demonstrate products quickly.
• Strong sales, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
• Self-driven and comfortable working with targets.
• Previous experience in software sales, IT sales, POS/ERP sales, digital marketing or B2B sales is an added advantage.
