Sales & Marketing Representative (Nairobi)

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Representative will actively prospect and engage customers for a range of moving and logistics services. Based in Nairobi, the role involves field work, client meetings, and coordination with internal teams to meet sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create a professional buying atmosphere through pitching and rapid needs assessment.
• Prospect new clients via networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
• Conduct surveys, negotiate terms, and close deals, preparing sales agreements.
• Calculate job move costs within finance guidelines and manage turnaround times.
• Brief and debrief clients and moving teams before, during, and after moves.
• Liaise with branches, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure successful relocations.
• Report on sales performance, challenges, and training needs.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of proven sales experience meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience in moving, logistics, or warehousing is a plus.
• Outgoing, personable with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Target‑driven, results‑oriented with excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Diploma or degree in a business‑related field.
