Sales Merchandiser – Personal & Hair Care

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Merchandiser to promote personal and hair care products in supermarkets, beauty shops and other trade outlets across Kisumu. The role is field‑based and focuses on ensuring product visibility, supporting promotions and engaging shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail locations daily to arrange shelves and displays according to company planograms.
• Set up and maintain promotional materials, point‑of‑sale displays and signage.
• Interact with customers, answer product queries and encourage trial.
• Monitor stock levels, report out‑of‑stock situations and assist with replenishment orders.
• Collect sales and inventory data and provide feedback to the sales team.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum two years of experience in retail merchandising, sales or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of personal and hair care product categories.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Ability to follow planograms and visual merchandising guidelines.
• Basic record‑keeping and reporting skills.
