Sales Representative (5 Positions Available)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring five full-time Sales Representatives for its FMCG business, based in Athi River. The role covers sales, business development, territory coverage and customer relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Pursue new sales opportunities in the assigned territory and promote and sell FMCG products to new and existing customers.
• Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets and build a consistent sales pipeline.
• Build relationships with retailers, wholesalers and distributors, visit customers regularly and follow up on complaints and repeat orders.
• Cover the territory by field visits, introduce new products and promotions, monitor competitors and report market intelligence to the Sales Manager.
• Take orders accurately, follow up on deliveries, support collections and keep records of visits, orders and sales.
• Prepare sales and field activity reports, plan daily and weekly activities and manage assigned sales resources such as transport and airtime.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
• Experience in field sales, territory management and customer relationship management.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage daily activities independently.
• Good knowledge of the FMCG market and distribution environment is an advantage.
