Sales Trainee Graduate Internship

About the role

The Sales Trainee Graduate Internship offers recent graduates a hands‑on introduction to sales within a medium‑sized manufacturing company in Nairobi. Over a three‑month period, interns will rotate through core sales activities, gaining practical experience that can lead to a full‑time sales officer position.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in structured sales training and development programmes.
• Support the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Conduct market research and gather customer insights.
• Assist in executing sales, marketing, and brand activation initiatives.
• Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.
• Learn and apply the company’s sales processes, products, and service standards.
• Perform other duties assigned as part of the learning programme.

Required profile

• Recent bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong willingness to learn, positive attitude and self‑motivation.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• No prior work experience required; internship exposure in sales, marketing or brand management is an advantage.
