Salon Sales Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, customer‑focused Salon Sales Consultant to drive sales and build strong client relationships in our Nairobi location. The role involves promoting salon services, products and memberships while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients, assess their beauty and hair‑care needs and recommend suitable services and products.
• Drive sales of services, product packages, memberships and achieve individual and team targets.
• Follow up with existing and prospective clients to generate repeat business and maintain strong relationships.
• Collaborate with stylists, beauticians and management to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Stay updated on beauty, hair‑care, skincare and salon product trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing, Beauty & Cosmetics or related field (advantageous).
• At least 2 years of sales or customer‑service experience, preferably in a salon, spa or beauty retail environment.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication, persuasion and negotiation abilities.
• Professional appearance and confidence in a fast‑paced, target‑driven setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
