Security Compliance Assessor (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Security Compliance Assessor to help organisations achieve world‑class compliance and security outcomes across critical systems. You will lead ISO 27001, CSA Star and SOC 2 audits, delivering clear, actionable insights to our global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits for ISO 27001, SOC 2 and related frameworks.
• Perform gap assessments to identify process and control improvements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand operations and verify compliance.
• Prepare and deliver clear, actionable audit reports.
• Present findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate audit schedules to meet strict client deadlines.
• Stay current on the latest compliance standards and best practices.
• Work with the global team to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years experience in compliance, auditing, or information security.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800‑53, IEC 62443 or similar frameworks.
• Possess at least one certification: ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISA or CISSP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects independently.
• Comfortable working fully remotely and across distributed teams.
• Availability to work 1 pm–10 pm East Africa Time regularly.
