Senior Accountant – East Africa (Nairobi)

About the role

As Senior Accountant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the financial operations of our Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda entities run smoothly and accurately. Working closely with the Finance Manager East Africa, Group Finance and our Shared Services Centre in Marrakech, you’ll coordinate month‑end accounting, support statutory and tax compliance, prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end accounting for Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda entities.
• Support statutory and tax compliance across multiple legal entities.
• Prepare financial reports and provide performance insights.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance Manager East Africa, Group Finance and the Shared Services Centre.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 4‑6 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong general accounting experience across East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda).
• Experience supporting statutory and tax compliance for multiple entities.
• Proficiency with an ERP system such as Dynamics 365.
• Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
