Senior Agile Scrum Master – Analyst

About the role

The Senior Agile Scrum Master will coach and serve Agile delivery teams within Cigna Healthcare, ensuring they adopt Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices to deliver value efficiently. The role focuses on removing impediments, fostering a collaborative culture, and aligning team output with International Health business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coach Agile teams on Scrum, Kanban, and Lean‑Agile principles, promoting self‑organization and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning at the ART level.
• Support teams in managing flow, capacity, dependencies, and delivery risks while maintaining transparent metrics.
• Identify and remove impediments, protect teams from disruptions, and escalate systemic issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and priorities.

Required profile

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent) with at least 4 years of Scrum Master/Agile Coach experience.
• Proven ability to facilitate team development, continuous improvement initiatives, and Agile transformation.
• Strong knowledge of Lean‑Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict‑resolution, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Solid understanding of IT concepts, software delivery lifecycle, and technical standards.
