Senior AI & Full-Stack Engineer - DevOps & Technical Leadership

About the role

We are a fast‑moving startup building AI‑powered web applications and business automations. As a Senior AI & Full‑Stack Engineer you will own end‑to‑end development, from translating business requirements into reliable software to managing the underlying Linux and Docker infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack web applications, including frontend UI and secure backend APIs.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities, using coding assistants and agentic workflows with proper testing and human review.
• Design databases, manage migrations, performance tuning, backups and recovery for PostgreSQL.
• Administer Linux servers, Docker containers, DNS, TLS certificates, reverse proxies and networking.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Lead and mentor developers, coordinate outsourced contributors, and review external deliverables.
• Investigate production incidents, implement rollback procedures and post‑deployment verification.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience delivering production web applications.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams and work with distributed/outsourced engineers.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, independent work style and ability to prioritize under a startup budget.

Required skills

• Modern frontend framework (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Backend development with secure APIs, authentication, third‑party integrations.
• AI/LLM integration, experience with coding assistants or agentic development.
• SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL), migrations, indexing, performance analysis.
• Linux system administration and Docker container deployment.
• DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, firewalls, reverse proxies.
• CI/CD using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Git, pull‑request workflow, code review and release management.
