Senior Business Analyst - Agricultural Service

About the role

The Partnership Agency is hiring an experienced Senior Business Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives that shape decision-making across its organization. The role involves analyzing complex datasets, developing actionable insights and working cross-functionally to improve business performance, drive growth and support strategic planning. It is a full-time position based in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business performance data and interpret trends to inform forecasting, pricing, customer behavior analysis and operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage SQL queries, data pipelines and ETL processes to extract and clean data from multiple sources.
• Generate daily, fortnightly and monthly sales reports covering sales out, stock values and stock movements, ensuring consistent business metrics.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Maintain business intelligence documentation, training materials and best practice guidelines to support data literacy.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and mentor junior analysts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify process improvements and stay up to date with data analytics trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business data analytics, business intelligence or financial modeling, preferably in Agri-finance or FMCG.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
