Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Jubilee Holdings Limited is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join its Head Office in Nairobi. The post reports to the Senior Manager – Business & Process Analysis and bridges business and technical teams by turning business needs into clear technical requirements and managing the requirements lifecycle. The role also coordinates solution testing and validation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business needs and stakeholder requirements to shape technical solutions aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Evaluate customer feedback, operational data and market trends to find opportunities for digital experience improvements and process optimisation.
• Benchmark industry practices and emerging technologies, and collaborate with stakeholders on agile approaches to improve efficiency.
• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys and document reviews, producing functional specifications.
• Review business processes and workflows, run root cause analysis of complaints, audit findings and risk incidents, and recommend improvements.
• Design customer journeys across digital channels, develop test cases and acceptance criteria, maintain requirements traceability matrices and support user testing.
• Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, information security, data protection and internal policies, and follow requirements management guidelines.
• Share knowledge and lessons learned across the requirements and delivery lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or a related field.
• Mandatory CBAP certification.
• At least five years of experience in business analysis on complex projects.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional specifications, solution testing and stakeholder coordination.
• Insurance industry knowledge and multi-market experience are desirable.

Required skills

• CBAP certification (mandatory)
• PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma or Agile certification is an added advantage
• Problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, communication and planning skills
