Senior Deputy Director, Corporate Services

About the role

The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development seeks a senior leader to provide strategic direction across Human Resources, Finance, Administration, ICT and Corporate Communication. The role ensures alignment with the Institute’s mandate and government policies while driving efficiency and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate, implement, review and evaluate policies, strategies, standards and programmes for corporate services.
• Oversee the effectiveness of corporate services structures, systems and processes and recommend strategic interventions.
• Lead budgeting for personnel emoluments and corporate services, ensuring prudent use of financial, human and technological resources.
• Provide oversight of human resource requirements, staff welfare, office accommodation and facilities.
• Develop and implement integrated information, records and knowledge management systems.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, government policies and regulatory requirements.
• Strategically oversee ICT infrastructure, digital services and corporate communication functions.
• Coordinate corporate services integration across the Institute and promote inter‑departmental collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven strategic leadership experience in corporate services, including HR, finance, administration, ICT and communication.
• Ability to advise senior management and the Council on corporate services matters and address emerging risks.
