Senior Ledger Accountant – Nakuru

About the role

The Senior Ledger Accountant will lead the general ledger function for Bahati Agroprocessors, an agro‑processing company based in Nakuru. The role involves managing the full ledger cycle, performing reconciliations, driving month‑end close, preparing financial reports and handling inventory accounting, all while maintaining rigorous financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead the month‑end close process and produce timely financial statements.
• Prepare and present financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee inventory accounting and integrate it with the ledger system.
• Strengthen and monitor financial controls across the accounting function.
